I woke up at my girlfriend’s apartment around 7:30 a.m. I got my stuff together, and I drove to Lynn to play handball.
After handball I drove over to Mission on the Bay restaurant in swampscott and I got the all you can eat breakfast, which was amazing! It was only $20.
After breakfast I started my drive to Danvers, and on the way I passed the entrance to my old campsite in Salem woods. I stopped and I took a walk through the forest to my old encampment. It was beautiful to see all the foliage that had come out. When I was in those woods it was winter and everything was bare. My old tent was there but it was crumpled up a little bit. I really love that spot.
After visiting my old campsite, I stopped by my friend’s house in Danvers and he was asleep. I decided to just drive back to my girlfriend’s apartment.
I took some pictures of the homeless hangout across the street from my girlfriend’s apartment. It’s a meal and homeless service provider called Life Connections. I call it drug connections, since so many people stay outside there using drugs all day and all hours of the night.
I spent the rest of the evening and night with my girlfriend.
