I woke up in the tent around 7:00 a.m. I got ready for My dentist appointment which is at 8:30 a.m. in Peabody at Gentle Dental. It was a bi-yearly cleaning. I decided to take the day off of work and I sent a text to the shelter manager the night before calling out. I also used one of my paid sick days.
After my dentist appointment I stopped at Farmer Brown’s in Middleton and I ate a sandwich and some soup.
I went back to my campsite and I hung around until 5:00 p.m. and then I went out and did some scouting at a wooded area in Lawrence. I had been looking at this area on maps for a while, and I was really interested in setting up a camp somewhere in these woods. I found a beautiful spot. It seemed that someone had been there before, I saw remnants of a fire. I marked it as a spot that I could set up a camp if I decide to spend more time out here in Lawrence and continue to do this work with the homeless.
After scouting I drove to my girlfriend’s apartment and I stayed there for the night.
