After a long Thursday night into Friday, I woke up at my girlfriend’s apartment with her and her son. I had a rejuvenating rest. We spent some time in the morning together, and then I drove to handball in Lynn.
A thought came to me while I was driving. I thought to myself that most people are always surrounded by civilization and other people. Most people do not get the experience of spending extended periods of time in nature alone. I’ve learned what an enlightening experience this is in itself. And I thought to myself if anything to implore that people take it upon themselves to stay in the woods alone and bond with nature.
It was a great day at handball. I enjoyed spending time with my brothers. After handball I enjoyed a tacos Lupita’s chorizo con huevo burrito.
From Taco Lupita’s I drove to my friend’s house in Danvers where I got changed and showered in preparation to go to a party that I go to once a year in Winthrop. A few of my friends live in a beautiful house right across the Marsh from Logan airport. They throw a big party for the spring and it’s always great to see old friends. I had a great time seeing old friends and making some new friends. We even pulled out the flamethrower.
I left the party around 11:00 p.m. and I drove to my girlfriend’s apartment. Going from old friends, to the comfort of my beautiful girlfriend was a good mix, I had a wonderful night.
