I woke up in the tent around 5:30 a.m. I worked on writing for about an hour, then got dressed outside my truck and drove to work.
I arrived at the shelter around 8:00 a.m. Ezekiel took the day off. I went to Brightview MAT provider and discussed working with homeless clients when they came to Brightview for opioid addiction medicine.
I left Brightview and returned back to the shelter. I walked over to the harm reduction Center with the Man I got into the shelter the afternoon before, to help him get his mass health coverage setup. The worker at the Harm Reduction Center told me that no one was available at the time to do the MassHealth enrollment. So I walked back to the shelter with the new shelter Guest.
From the shelter I drove to the faith-based homeless day shelter where I did coordinated entries for two homeless people. I hung around The faith-based homeless day shelter until it closed at 1pm. I met with an outreach team from another faith-based organization outside of the day shelter. I also met someone from YMCA and he gave me his card.
I came back to the shelter, I ate lunch, and then I drove over to City Hall to see if I could learn more about the community development council. The guy at the front desk connected me with the mayor’s assistant, who gave me the number of director of community development.
At around 3:00 p.m. I came back to the shelter and I contacted the worker from the YMCA and The director of community development for the city.
I did paperwork and I wrapped up my day around 5:00 p.m. I hung around work and then I went to the TMF dinner.
After the dinner I drove back to my campsite and went to bed.
