12/31/23 Day 92, Sunday, Northshore, New Year’s Eve

8:30 a.m. I woke up at the girl’s apartment. She and I spent the morning together. She’s mostly just working on stuff like her beauty and things. I don’t really have to be anywhere anytime soon so I just hang out on the couch, scrolling through social media and looking at things on my phone. Her behavior towards me has been strange lately. The nights that I spend in my tent she never replies to my calls or messages. Ultimately, I don’t care what she does, but it seems there’s something she’s not telling me.

11:00 a.m. I drove to Beverly to get gas. I plan on meeting Susan to give her donations which she distributes to people living in tents in Salem, Gloucester, Beverly, and Lynn. I hang out at the gas station just going through social media stuff for a while. The plan is to meet Susan at 12:30 p.m.

12:10 p.m. I drive over to Wendy’s in Salem where I’m going to meet Susan. I have some time before she shows, so I walk across the street to the Salem Winter festival and get a burrito from a food truck. I also do a video of the contrast between the festival in the tent city across the river. Afterwards I walk back over to Wendy’s and meet up with Suzanne, and we give out donations to some of the people that are living in tents next to Wendy’s. I also give Susan donations that she can share with other people that she provides for.

1:20 p.m. I drive to my mother’s and I spend some time with my mom on New Year’s Eve. I take Charlie for a walk and I’ve just been enveloped in the Karen Reed case. Karen Read’s court date is January 5th Friday there’s a protest starting at 7:30 a.m. that I’ll be at.

4:30 p.m. I drove to Danvers to visit my friend Erin. I then drive to Market Basket in Danvers, one of the employees at Market Basket kicks me out of there because he says they’re closing. I got pissed off, but instead of having an argument I talked to the manager and told him that’s no way to treat a valued customer considering I shop there constantly.

5:30 p.m. I go to the Stop & Shop near my girls apartment and pick up some tortellinis and vegetables to make dinner with. I go to her house and she and I hang out and we watch TV.
