12/7/23 Day 68, Thursday, Haverhill, Another Day Exploring Haverhill

7:30 a.m. I wake up, and I start charging my phones. When my friend wakes up I go downstairs and we make small talk. The plan is my friend will go to work and I’m going to spend the day exploring Haverhill, and then I’ve been tasked by my friend to get items for wreaths from the woods.

8:30 a.m. I pack up my stuff and I drive over to a wooded area in Haverhill to explore. The woods are very open and I realize once I walk a way down the path that this forest would not be a good place to conceal a camp. What I’m looking for is a town to run a miniseries of how to live for under $1,000 a year. I like Haverhill, but I do not think Haverhill will be a focal point for me. I’m starting to think that Lawrence would be a better place to run $1,000 a year mini-series.

10:00 a.m. after trekking through the forest, I spend some time in my car on my phone’s. I see an officer drive by and I waved him. I decided just head back to the library and hang out for a little while. I hang out in the library make some phone calls and charge my phones.

1:45 p.m. I start driving back to my friend’s house, so I can explore the woods behind her house and collect the items that she had requested. On the way I see a Jeep for sale, so I stop and I talked to the owner who lets me drive the Jeep. It’s a 2001 Jeep Wrangler in good condition with a new transmission. I personally do not want the Jeep but I wanted to see if a friend might want it. I exchange information with the owner and let them know that I’ll contact them later.

2:30 p.m. I arrive at my friend’s house and trek into the woods with a small bag to collect items. The woods are very beautiful, there is a stream, and a path following the stream. You can tell many people have come through this forest and cut down trees for some reason. I wonder if it’s logging or if they’re planning on developing the land. I take a video of a large murder of crows that I see in the trees. After I’ve hiked quite a ways, I decide to turn back around 3:50 p.m. I can tell that the light is fading.

4:30 p.m. I arrived back at my friend’s house. She had not come home yet, so I just hang out until she arrives. We end up talking for a while and I let her know that I’ll be leaving in the morning. We say our goodbyes and around 10:00 p.m. I go to sleep.
