8:00 a.m. I woke up at the girl’s apartment. I have plans to meet with the owner of the Cape Ann auction, Walt, to get some donations.
9:30 a.m. I drive towards Danvers to park somewhere and wait until Walt is done doing a clean out. I parked at a gas station in Danvers and I began to scroll through social media. I have a long call with a friend of mine that works at a big funding agency for addiction services in Massachusetts. I haven’t talked to this person in a while and it’s good to catch up with them.
12:10 p.m. I reach out to Walt to see When and where he wants to meet up. Walt tells me to meet him at dunkin’ donuts in Hamilton at 2:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. I met Walt outside of dunkin’ donuts. Well it buys me a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant sandwich and a blueberry donut. Walt and I sit and talk for a while and then we go out to his van where he donates some camping supplies and other goods for homeless people.
3:00 p.m. I drove back to the Salem Library. I spend some time in the library charging my devices and uploading videos to social media.
4:45 p.m. I walk over to Lifebridge to have dinner. The day shelter is closed and we have to wait to get the meals from the shelter and eat outside. I sat at a picnic table with some friends. We get our dinners and we sit and have conversation while we eat.
5:30 p.m. I walk back over to my truck. I have to get up early in the morning to drive to Connecticut. I’m going to stop and visit a friend on the way in Sturbridge. It’s a long day tomorrow. Connecticut is a two and a half hour drive. It’s important because I’m getting donations for homeless people.
6:00 p.m. I park near the entrance to the woods. I hike out to my camp. The weather has been warm lately so it’s been pleasant sleeping in the tent. When I get to the tent I settle in scroll online for a while and then I go to bed.
