I woke up at my friend’s house at 6:00 a.m., and I drove to my campsite. There had been a cop posted up at a speed trap next to the entrance to my camp the night before.
I spent the whole day in my camp. At one point a guy approached my tent claiming to be environmental police. He asked my name which I refused to provide. He told me that I was trespassing. He asked me if this was my land, I responded by saying is it your land. This guy had a hostile attitude. I asked him if he planned on attacking my tent and then he went away. I do not think that he was environmental police. I think he was trying to scare me. It didn’t work.
The interaction with the guy randomly approaching my tent made me nervous. Ultimately, I’ll deal with what comes and if he comes back when I’m not around and destroys my tent it is what it is.
While I was laying in my tent some sparrows began to build a nest on top of my tent. I have an A-frame with a tarp that creates a comfortable little space between the tent and the tarp. The sparrows piled leaves and twigs, Once they realized that I was here they got scared and abandoned their project.
At 7:00 p.m. I took a ride to the grocery store Market basket to be exact. I grabbed some sesame sticks, chocolate covered almonds, yogurt, and a sub, since I hadn’t eaten all day I was hungry. I came back to my tent, and I ate at my small table. After I ate I just settled in and slept for the night. Tomorrow starts another work week.
