Around 6:30 a.m. I woke up in the tent. The bugs were all on the tent again which makes me happy. I listened to the rest of Turtleboy and got caught up on the latest Karen Read news. I spent a good amount of time getting caught up on writing blogs.

Breaking up with my girlfriend, experiencing depression, and all the other distractions in my life, such as work and living outside, have taken a large psychological toll on me. I don’t want to violate constraints of ethical and professional boundaries at work. But I started this project before my job and I have to figure out a way to communicate my activities. At this point I’m just trying to make it work.

This project and my life have taken turns I did not expect, but from the onset I expected the unexpected. So I’m just going to keep pushing forward and doing the best I can.

I took time in the late morning to string up an A-frame for my tent to protect it from weather and keep it from moving around when the winds blow. And then I want to spend time with my mother, her dog Charlie, and her cat Weezy.

Like most weekends it’s just time for me to spend time with family and friends and unwind. I left my mother’s house around 6:30 p.m. and I drove to my campsite where I slept comfortably in a better protected and secured tent. It was definitely a little bit more reassuring. Having the wind blow my tent around was really getting on my nerves.
