9:00 a.m. I woke up a little bit late. I spent the whole morning and early afternoon in the tent. I wish I could say I was productive but I wasn’t. It’s hard to explain when you’re laying there out in the woods and it’s cold. Sometimes you just want to lay there. I have my phones to keep me entertained and it’s peaceful there. Sometimes I think to myself that if I had all the things I needed I could just stay out in the woods and be completely happy.
2:00 p.m. I head out of the forest because my friend needs a ride. He’s dropping his truck off to get a U bolt replaced on the leaf springs. I drove to Palmer Spring Co. in Woburn to pick him up. My friend is nice enough to take me out for a roast beef. We went to a place in Woburn called Pete’s roast beef. My friend is a staunch beefer, and likes to sample beefs all over the Northshore and beyond. We’re both members of the North shore beefs Facebook group. Both of us get a big beef three-way at Pete’s and it’s pretty good. While I sit there with him we reminisce and talk about life stuff.
3:00 p.m. I drive my friend back to his mother’s house where he picks up his dad’s old truck. Recently his father had passed away, his father was a great man and a good friend of mine as well. He will be missed for sure.
4:30 p.m. I rode over to another one of my friends’ houses who lives close by. Her and I talk about some of the life stuff she’s got going on and she tells me some pretty interesting things, specifically that her toxic boy toy is infatuated with transvestites. Ultimately, it seems like her life is getting a little bit better and I’m happy to hear it. I walk to another one of my friends’ places close by and I spend some time charging my phones and thinking about what I should do. I talked to my girlfriend, and she wanted me to stay the night with her, which I accepted.
