8:00 a.m. my friend and I wake up. She has to work at 11:00 a.m. We spend some time together and we both leave at the same time. We say our goodbyes, and I head to my mother’s house.
11:00 a.m. I arrived at my mother’s house. I stopped on the way to visit a friend. I plan on doing some swamp exploration before the rain becomes too serious. I have my boots and I bring my poncho. I spent some time with my mother and Charlie, and then I trek out into the swamp. While I’m out there it begins to rain. The poncho doesn’t do a good job of keeping me completely dry and I worry about my devices getting wet. At some point someone had been shooting out here. Otherwise it’s relatively secluded.
3:30 p.m. Once I’ve seen enough, I trek out of the swamp. I head back to my mother’s house and help her unload groceries.
5:30 p.m. I leave my mother’s house and I drive back to my camp. I stop at the grocery store and get some candies and some drinks. I park my car in the usual spot. I walk to my camp in the rain. I really enjoy being in the tent and listening to the rain splatter on the tarps. I make it an early night and I’m asleep around 8:30 p.m.
