7:30 a.m. my date myself wake up. We hang out for a while and just enjoy relaxing in the tent. We both have things to do. I have to meet Susan at Wendy’s at 10:00 a.m. Susan is giving me a carbon monoxide detector for my tent during the harsh winter if I have to use my propane tent warmer to make sure I don’t suffocate. Susan also brought donations for the people at the Tent City next to Wendy’s. My date has work today and needs to be to her her car by 10:30.

9:10 a.m. after my date and myself pack everything up we hike to the truck. I drive over to Wendy’s. Susan shows up at around 10:10 a.m. I go around getting people out of their tent so that they can get donations from Susan.
At 10:30 I drive back to my dates car, so she can get ready to head to work.
11:00 a.m. my mother calls me, I’m sitting in my truck. She asked if I’m coming over today, and I say yes. I drive over to my mother’s and spend some time there with her and Charlie.
2:00 p.m. My friend Ben from WMEX AM radio has asked if I want to do a radio show with Tony. I have been on the radio show From Courage to Hope a few times. I really enjoy talking with Ben and Tony. Courage to hope is a radio show discussing addiction and talking about ways that we can make things better. Tony asks me questions about my Homeless 366 project and what my experiences has been being homeless for the last 2 months. I talk with Tony for over an hour, the recording will be aired on Courage to Hope. https://wmexboston.com/courage-to-hope-with-tony-lagreca/
3:45 p.m. I drove my truck to my friend’s house in Danvers. I stop in to check on him and see how he’s doing. I have many friends, some of my friends I worry about sometimes.
5:00 p.m. I leave my friend’s house and I drive my little car over to the area where my camp is. I stop at a grocery store on the way and get some food. I bought some drinks for the camp too.
6:00 p.m. While I’m walking to my camp in the darkness I see big white figures in front of me moving frantically. I become consumed with this overwhelming fear that comes from deep within. Immediately my hand is on my weapon. This reaction is a second long. Then I realize what I’m looking at are two white tail deer. They didn’t hear me coming. What I was experiencing was the deer running away, their white bums moving in the darkness. When you see something like that moving frantically in the darkness that close to you, The body reacts before the mind even knows what’s happening. I feel safe again, but the initial reaction was Surprise and innate fear that I’ve only experienced a few times in my life. Soon I’m in my tent. I settle in, and work on a few things on the phone. I’m tired, so I decided to go to bed early and wake up early. I set my alarm for 5:00 a.m. and I’m asleep by 8:30.
