8/14/2024 day 319, Wednesday, Boston, Stabbing

When I’m in the city, I always feel like I can be bigger than the city. All its structured and man-made shit. I feel confident, where in the beginning I did not. When I’m in the woods I feel that I am tiny in the face of nature. I feel humbled by nature. I feel connected. All of mankind is sick. Sickness comes from a defiance towards nature. With human intelligence there needs to be humility. It’s impossible to reason with a creature that lacks humility.

I woke up at my girlfriend’s apartment around 4:30 a.m. I got my gear together, I gave her a kiss, and then I went down to my car and I unlocked my bicycle from my small car. I rode over to the low train station for the 5:45 train into North Station.

When I arrived in Boston I stopped at the Star Market right outside North Station. I got chicken salad with crackers and a sugar free monster energy drink. I sat on one of the granite benches near the street, ate my food and drank my drink.

I rode my bike to Planet fitness and I dropped off the large backpack in the locker, and I unzipped the small backpack for travel. I was still hungry so I went over to Roche Brothers at downtown crossing.

I got water and I got another energy drink and I hung out inside Roache Brothers for a little while. Eventually I got some of the ready-made breakfast food that they have on a buffet there. While I was eating, an ambulance and a bunch of cop cars showed up across the street. I thought maybe somebody fell out or overdosed which is common.

I watched as the cops set up a perimeter and then I decided I’d go out and take a look. What I saw was the scene of a stabbing. A backpack, a rag, and a lot of blood on the ground with caution tape all around. There were tons of people walking by and people looking. I decided to walk to the Commons and sit down and think about the situation for a minute.

I sat on a bench at the Common. There were three African American men sitting on a bench next to me. I was on a phone call with my girlfriend telling her what happened with the stabbing. Some of the African American men started talking to me about it. I told my girlfriend that I had to go and we began to conversate about the situation. The African American men told me that it was just drug addicts, junkies as they said. They said that the junkies were ruining the city. I asked him what happened and they refused to discuss it. I sat there for a minute scrolling on my phone to see if there was news out yet about the stabbing. Then two other African American men walked up. One of the men began to say real hateful derogatory things about white people. He said that he hated white people and that they were all racist. He said that white people hate blacks because they have bigger dicks than white people. He said he hated New Hampshire because of the white people. I honestly can’t remember all the nasty things that this person said. I thought to myself to speak up, then I realized that there were five of them and one of me. I knew that this African American man was saying these things knowing that I was sitting at a bench right next to where they were. I decided I would get up and walk back over to the scene of the stabbing and take a video. Not only did I get a video but I was able to talk to an eyewitness.

I left the scene of the stabbing and I took a walk over to the army barracks down the street in Boston. I bought another pepper spray since I had lost mine previously. I bought another one a few days back at the army barracks in saugus but it didn’t work so now I need to buy another one. I also bought a scally cap.

I left the army Navy store and I rode my bike over to Dewey square. I’ve been invited to go to another conversation station for Everyday Boston. The Greenway that runs around Boston with its parks and community areas was having an event with local health organizations. I hung out at the everyday Boston table with the founder and a few of the members. I had some good conversations with people that pass by and some of the rangers for the Greenway. This event ended around 3:00 p.m.

After helping everyday Boston pack up their gear I decided to head over to the main Boston public Library and work on stuff there for a while. I took a route from Chinatown and I stopped and got some seafood rice there at one of the many Chinese food restaurants.

When I got to the library I hung out and I charged all my devices including my external battery. I sat on the second floor looking down at the GBH studio. There was a really nice man sitting across from me. And at one point he even watched my stuff while I went outside to hit my vape. The food activist guy came inside the library letting everyone know that they had food outside. I went out and I ate a burrito. I really love the food activist.

Since I’d collected my stuff to go outside and eat the burrito I decided it was time to leave the library and I headed over to the Paulist Center off Boston Common to have dinner.

Once again I met up with Freitas and Vox and their other friend that they travel with. Today was a day of eating, they had enchilada casserole at the Paulist Center and I ate that too.

When I was outside getting ready to leave the dinner Freitas stopped me and was asking me for help with money. It seems that they wanted to get some alcohol for himself and his friends. I decided to be generous and I gave Freitas 20 bucks. I told Freitas that they owe me an interview. Freitas directed me to one of their favorite trans artists named Alaska Thunderfuck, I watched her video puppet on YouTube and found her to be a little bit racy. Although I believe Alaska Thunderfuck is someone Freitas Adores.

Once again I’m hot and heavy with my girl. I decided to go to Planet Fitness, collect my gear and take the train to Lowell to spend the night at my girlfriend’s apartment.
