I woke up around 5:30 a.m. at the church. I took my caffeine pill, and I laid there for about a half an hour. It was getting light. Well after 6:00 a.m. I put my gear together and got ready to ride over to Planet fitness to lock up the larger portion of my hiking pack. I could see someone sleeping on one of the Stone benches at the church, and I wondered if it was Kim, the person I had met when I was in Boston last year.
I rode my bike over to Planet fitness. And I locked up the hiking pack and kept the smaller unzippable backpack with me. I charge my phones for a little bit and around 6:45 a.m. I walked over to St Francis house for breakfast.
There was a large line of people waiting to get into St Francis house. Somewhere standing somewhere laying down. At one point a woman began yelling frantically and aggressively at somebody. They started letting people in to St Francis house around 7:15 a.m. When I went through the metal detector I told him I was there to have breakfast. The worker told me that they moved breakfast across the street and told me where to go.

I walked across the street where there is an entrance in the back alley. I don’t understand why they have moved the cafeteria. I was happy to be back inside since it was raining out. I went through the metal detectors and I had utility pliers in my backpack as well as a Swiss army knife on my keychain. The worker told me to go outside and stash it before I came back in, which I did behind a drain pipe in the alley.
This new cafeteria was pretty nice. They had a TV with a movie playing. It looked like a vampire movie, maybe one in the Blade series. There’s roughly 60 people in the room. A little after 7:30 they began calling tables up by numbers. I happen to be at table number two. They usually just have oatmeal, some bread, maybe fruit or something for breakfast at St Francis house. They also give you orange juice and coffee.
I ate my breakfast and left and walked back over to Planet fitness where I hung out with my little room and I worked on writing. Since I was in the gym I decided to do a little exercise and get some pull ups and dips as well.
Around 9:40 a.m. I took a walk over to St Paul’s Church on Tremont Street. They were doing a writing workshop. I hung out and I ate some food and a meatball sandwich. I also got some drinks. I really love this service for the homeless. I talked to a few people and I hung out for a while. As long as you have a place to sleep that is secure, Boston is the best place to be homeless. There’s tons of resources! And there’s always something to do.

At 10:30 a.m. I left St Paul’s and I hung out in the Commons. I jumped on the phone for another interview for the job that I’m seeking.

At around 12:30 p.m. I went over to Roach Brothers, and with my food stamps I bought some strawberries and kiwis and some sushi. I was on Facebook and I saw a like from a friend I hadn’t talked to in a while. This is a very successful woman who has funded my non-profit in the past. I reached out to her and we ended up talking for well over an hour.
Around 2:00 p.m. I went back to Planet fitness and I hung out there scrolling on my phone, and doing some writing work.

A little after 4:00 p.m. I rode my bike to the Church of the Adventist. I hung out on some steps outside until I heard the rolling of suitcases on the sidewalk. When I turned around it was Freitas and Entourage. We walked over to the steps of the church and waited for them to open the doors for dinner. When the door’s opened We went inside and we sat down. Freitas gave me the list of dinners near the Commons.

A priest got up and did a sermon before
dinner. The priest spoke of a Bible verse in Mark. The police also talked about St Augustine and how St Augustine was a very conflicted and flawed human being who would sought out the Lord to find peace and absolution. The message was that no matter how far gone you are there is always salvation in Jesus Christ the Lord.

After dinner I left and I went back towards Planet fitness. I walked with Freitas and Vox and their other friend who’s name I forgot. We stopped at their sleeping spot for a few pictures too.

I continueed riding my bike towards Planet fitness. I ran into the Food Activists and took some shots.

I hung out at Planet fitness until it got dark. It had been raining off and on all day. I unlocked my large hiking pack from the locker and zipped my small backpack to it. I unlock my bike outside and started walking through the Commons. There was a huge contingent of people at the Commons, so I stopped and asked what this was. Someone told me that it was the midnight runners group in Boston. They were all doing calisthenics. I thought it was cool to see so many people come together for a common activity.

I rode my bike with my gear on my back to my spot under the church. I set up my blow up mattress and got all my sleeping stuff prepared.
While I was laying there scrolling on my phone A man walked by with a backpack. He asked me for a cigarette and I told him all I had was a vape. I don’t know why he walked through the church. I’m always nervous when people approach me. I keep my weapons close. He went on his way. It seems he was just passing through.
Around 10:00 p.m. I fell asleep and was asleep for the night. I awoke a couple in the night. Around 11:00 p.m. A man rode a bike past me and set up his sleeping spot on one of the granite benches near me. And then again around midnight I heard some coughing and it was another man who’d taken another bench at the church.
