I woke up in my tent around 8:30 a.m. I hung out at the camp till about 10:00 a.m. and then I got my stuff together and I drove to Dedham to visit my step grandfather who’s in a nursing home. He has lost the ability to swallow food and eat.
The nursing home was beautiful. They had all kinds of courtyards, and beautiful furnishings. I sat down with my grandfather and him and I talked about old times and it was good to just sit with him. I stayed for about an hour and a half. My grandfather said that his daughter was coming to visit him and it would be good if I were to see her too. I told my grandfather I was going to go to a protest and then be back at around 3:30 p.m.

I drove over to the denim courthouse, Karen Reed is having a hearing today to try to vacate to chargers that the jury voted unanimously not guilty on during her mistrial. When I arrive at the courthouse all the protesters are in full force. It’s interesting because now there are anti-Free Karen Read protesters who dress in all blue and wave thin blue line flags and like to say that Karen Read is guilty.
The protest is a great success and there are many good pictures taken.
At around 3:30 I leave and go back to the nursing home where my grandfather is. When I arrive his daughter is in the room with him and we sit down and talk. My grandfather’s daughter tells me that she’s been following me on social media. She even asked me if I was at the Karen Read protest. We spend some time together and talk.
Around 5:30 p.m. after my grandfather’s daughter has left. I head out to drive back to my campsite for the night. When I get in my little car the fresh young cannibal song comes on, the one where they say “she drives me crazy” This was one of my sister’s favorite song and I take it as a sign. I drive back to my camp and I just hang in and settle in for the night.
