7/23/2024 day 297, Tuesday, Lobster and Bear

I woke up at my girlfriend’s apartment at 7:30 a.m. She got ready for work and we both left her apartment around 9:00 a.m.

I decided to spend the week with my girlfriend, friends, and family. I owed my mother a lunch. We bet on the Karen Read case. I voted not guilty, she voted guilty, it was a hung jury so we decided to go to the Anchor in Beverly and each buy ourselves the twin lobster deal for $19.

I met my mother at the Anchor at noon. My friend Ed works at the Anchor as a cook, so I had him put two cooked scallops in my lobster’s claws. As if the lobster caught the scallops before the lobster was caught himself. It was also a way to show my Mom that in our equal loss, I still win! I gave my Mom one of the scallops, so I guess it was still even.

When I left the Anchor I took a ride to my mom’s house and hung out there with her and the pets until 3:00 p.m. I drove to my friend Chris’s house, and visited him and his family. They had gotten a new dog named Bear, a shepherd, and the brother of their other dog Khaleesie. I really loved Bear. He was happy, energetic, and much bigger than Khaleesi.

I left Chris’s around 6:00 p.m. and drove to Lowell to spend the night with my girlfriend.
