8:00 a.m. I woke up at my girl’s apartment. I got my stuff together. She gets up as well. I didn’t have time to spend this morning, I plan on staying in the camp and doing project work all day.
9:00 a.m. I drove to my campsite to spend the day working on stuff. While I was scrolling through Facebook I had found out that Aidan Kearney AKA Turtleboy was going to be arraigned at Dedham District Court on new charges of domestic violence. I reached out to my friend Erin to see if she wanted to come with me to the court hearing. She said she would, I wanted to get there as soon as possible. My plans of working in the tent all day are thwarted by these new developments. I hiked out of the forest.
10:30 a.m. I drove over and picked up my friend Erin in Danvers. Aidan is the reporter that broke the Karen Read story. One of the biggest stories of our time. A story of official corruption in the murder of a Boston police officer. Aidan has become a victim of State Police and judicial weaponization to silence the reporting of the corruption and true story behind the John O’Keefe murder and subsequent cover up.
12:50 p.m. Erin and I arrive at the Dedham district Court. Aidan had turned himself in. I sit in the courtroom with many other turtle riders as we wait for Aidan’s case to be heard. When the judge appears and Aidan is brought forth the court proceedings go on for more than 2 hours. An affidavit is read by Ken Mello, a special prosecutor in Aidan’s superior court case of witness intimidation. Tim Bradl Aidan’s lawyer refutes the victims statements. Tim then plays an audio of the dispute between Aidan and the alleged victim. The audio proves that the victim lied in their affidavit. Tim also implicates a corrupt Massachusetts state detective that has targeted in retaliated against Aidan for his reporting. Regardless the judge revokes Aidan’s bond in the other case and Aidan is remanded to county jail. The spectators are in shock. It’s Aidan’s birthday and he’s going to be taken to jail away from his children.
4:30 p.m. A bunch of people hang outside the courthouse steps. There’s news reporters with cameras. Everybody wants to say their piece. I walk around the back of the courthouse and I film Aidan being taken away in the jail van.
5:00 p.m. I drove Erin home. From there I drove to my girlfriend’s apartment. It’s been an interesting day watching the corrupt wheels of justice incarcerate a journalist for reporting on corruption. I will admit Aidan did make a mistake going to that woman’s apartment. It’s obvious she had been compromised by the corrupt actors in this real life drama that is the aftermath of the corruption in the Karen Read murder trial.
